Types of UPVC Door Handles

However, levers don't create energy. They just multiply the force you apply by changing a small amount of effort across a large distance into a larger amount of force applied over a smaller distance. Levers are used to lift heavy objects and move huge amounts of cargo. This is also the basis behind levers found in many everyday tools like crowbars, fishing rods, hammer claws and even your own legs when you stand on the hand brake of your vehicle.

Lever/Pad

Lever pad handles, also referred to as upvc handle window door handles, feature levers on both sides to operate the multipoint locks. Lever pad handles are available in various finishes and designs and can be used on a wide range of materials, including UPVC doors, Aluminium doors & Timber Doors. They are sold in pairs for both the inner and exterior door with screws and spindles included. They are also available in hand and unhandled versions to suit different users.

They can be used to replace the existing upvc door locks and handles door. The levers are lifted to open all multipoint locks, and the key is turned to close or unlock the door. They are more secure in comparison to lever handles for doors as the locking operation is only accessible by entering the door with an open key, in the event that the door is locked.
