1. iRobot Roomba i3+ EVO

The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling, the i3 EVO. They differ only in that the i3+ comes with self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ a good option for those who want a hands-off, fully automated cleaning experience but don't mind manually emptying their robot's dustbin when it fills up.

Both robots do well picking up surface debris on carpets and hard floors, and they're excellent in getting around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes smart maps of your home, which help the i3+ EVO to navigate and clean in a way that maximizes efficiency. However unlike the i7+ or other top-rated robots that we evaluated the i3+ does not have obstacle-avoidance capabilities which means it can get stuck on things such as power cords or socks, and it can have difficulty traversing transitions across surfaces like from hardwood to carpet.

iRobot suggests cleaning up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or clutter it might come across. It's also recommended to keep the bin and filter clean so they aren't clogged by dirt. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or its battery is low it goes back to its docking station, automatically emptying its dirt into the station's dust bin and then resumes cleaning where it left off. 2. iRobot i7+ Roomba

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the top model in iRobot's flagship line and is equipped with the most recent features. It has self-charging and self-navigating, but the most significant feature is the self-emptying bin. This removes the need for routine maintenance.

The i7+ is more efficient and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is the self-emptying bin, which removes major maintenance sources and reduces recurring cost.

We were also impressed by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning routines and to move around the room, and even vacuum an area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. We were able, once connected, to speak commands to the i7+ for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s preferences and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car that is amidst a sea of vacuums powered by cordless that resemble minivans and buses. It has the power and features to replace a stand-up vacuum in most households however, it can also fit nicely on a coffee table or on shelves that you can spin around like the magic wand.

The V10 is powered with seven cells of energy-dense Lithium-ion batteries that produces power that is not fading for 60 minutes. Its sophisticated whole-machine filtration system captures allergens and expels clean air back into your home. This doesn't mean that this model isn't a good choice: It's lighter and agile than older cordless Dysons, and its vacuuming performance is significantly better on carpets with low pile.

4. iRobot Roomba 694

One of iRobot's most popular self-cleaning robot vacuums vacuums the 694 is an entry-level model that's a great option for those who don't wish to spend too much money on a robot. It's capable of sucking up a variety of kinds of debris in our tests, and it often passes over the same areas multiple times to ensure a thorough clean. The flat front of the unit allows it reach into corners and along the walls' edges and walls, which is a nice feature.

Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it's not equipped with the ability to map that comes with more sophisticated models like our top picks such as the i3+ EVO and the j7+ series. The app offers a variety of options to customize your robotic cleaner, such as virtual barriers, mopping water levels and behavior modification docking frequency settings and more. It's simple to comprehend and is user-friendly, which is the case with other Samsung devices.

In our tests during our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors. It removed 86% of dog hair (on carpet). However, it didn't do particularly well in avoiding taller objects like cords and socks which was a disappointment. It's also more expensive than the other models we've tested which could be a deal-breaker for certain shoppers.
