Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another similar item and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they don't retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted won't be compensated for.
