Private ADHD Titration

There is a current national shortage of medications to treat ADHD symptoms. This is due both to manufacturing problems as well as an increased global demand.

Our service offers private ADHD adjustment instead of waiting for NHS funding through Right to Choose. Our assessments are free and include the cost of one prescription.

Titration

A thorough evaluation of your ADHD symptoms will be conducted with a highly experienced consultant Psychiatrist. This includes a complete medical history, as well as an assessment using the typical ADHD questionnaires and rating scales.

Following your assessment you will be informed that medication may be beneficial in your case. At this point we will discuss treatment options and agree upon a bespoke individualised ADHD medication titration strategy. This will include a discussion and review of your dosage of medication and any side effects you may be experiencing. The cost of these titration appointments is PS150 for face-to face sessions and PS60 for telephone or online video consultations. Medication costs are additional and are paid directly to the pharmacy.

The psychiatrist will also ask you about your family background and the impact your ADHD symptoms have on your life, as well as any issues with relationships you may be experiencing or other mental health issues you may be experiencing. We also advise that you check whether your GP accepts a 'Shared Care Agreement that means that once discharged from the clinic you will be returned to them for the prescription for the medication.

Medication
