Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions can be a great way to acquire weapons, gear and more. They're not easy to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot lets you to bring pistols into an operation. Some players use this to achieve certain goals and targets, particularly those who want to go for Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to fill in a gap. When using this slot, it's important to keep in mind that you'll have to click the corresponding pistol category button, such as the alternative slot 2 for machine guns, to select the appropriate category. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider in use makes it much simpler. This combo will add a damage tick every 10 seconds from Concealed Weapon in the event that it is positioned.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled items slot is a great feature that allows players to bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently shaped like a pistol, which makes it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot that is smuggled from other gear slots.

The smuggle slot can house a large variety of items, from subtle concussion devices, to weapons-grade explosives. These items are hidden in a hidden location on the map and are able to be found at any time. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small objects hidden in the scenery and objects.

Mission planning is an option available in missions that are episodic. It allows players to unlock different starting locations, smuggled objects, and gear bonus round slots (Instapaper says) before they enter the map. These planning options increase as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This gives players the ability to create the perfect mission for each difficulty.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will quickly fill up in the early stages of the game, resulting in the common message "Your Gear famous slots are Full". This message will prevent Max to select new equipment until the old ones are removed or more space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the answer to this issue. They provide more inventory space to complete challenges. However, since many of these challenges are scattered across the world and could be missed it could take an extended time to obtain the maximum number of inventory slots available in-game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different gear types, which must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agents can pick up the passengers.

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations allow you to keep items that do not fit in your concealed slot for weapons or gear and retrieve them later.

These pickups can be very useful in situations where your job requires you to pass through a frisk, or if you carry a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. You can only conceal one item in a pickup location.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To begin these missions simply talk to the receptionist of the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Once you have reached the marker, identify a mob at the time you arrive.
